The India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), has released an official notification for the direct recruitment of Senior Assistant, Assistant, and Junior Stenographer posts.
This recruitment drive is specifically for candidates who appeared in SSC Examinations 2024 (JE, CGL, Stenographer) or GATE (2024, 2025, 2026).

Note: Candidates must possess the requisite educational qualifications and the specified competitive examination score.
Senior Assistant (Civil) – 07 Posts- Requires SSC JE (Civil, Mechanical & Electrical) Exam 2024 Score. Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering (Diploma holders require 1 year experience).
- Pay Scale: Rs. 29,000 - 1,10,000.
- Requires SSC JE Exam 2024 Score. Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Diploma holders require 1 year experience).
- Pay Scale: Rs. 29,000 - 1,10,000.
- Requires GATE 2024/2025/2026 Score in Architecture and Planning. Degree or Diploma in Architecture (Diploma holders require 1 year experience).
- Pay Scale: Rs. 29,000 - 1,10,000.
- Requires SSC CGL Exam 2024 Score. B.Com (2nd Division) with 2 years of experience in Finance/Accounts.
- Pay Scale: Rs. 27,500 - 99,000.
- Requires SSC Stenographer Grade 'C' Exam 2024 Score. Bachelor's Degree with Shorthand/Typing speed 80/40 w.p.m.
- Pay Scale: Rs. 27,500 - 99,000.
- Requires SSC CGL Exam 2024 Score. Bachelor's Degree (Min. 2nd Division) with typing speed and 2 years experience.
- Pay Scale: Rs. 25,000 - 85,000.
Age Limit
- Senior Assistants & Assistant (Accounts): Maximum 28 years.
- Junior Stenographer & Junior Assistant: Maximum 27 years.
- Age Relaxations: Applicable for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen as per rules.
Application Fee
- General/OBC/EWS Candidates: Rs. 1000/-
- SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Serviceman: Exempted from fee payment.
Selection Process
Selection will be purely provisional and based on a merit list. This merit list will be prepared using the consolidated marks, ranking, and score secured by the candidate in their respective SSC (JE, CGL, Steno) 2024 or GATE (2024/2025/2026) examinations, provided they meet all educational and experience criteria. Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification.

Eligible candidates must apply online through the portal specified by ITPO before November 13, 2026. Applicants must upload a scanned photograph, signature, age proof, educational certificates, category certificates, experience certificates, and their SSC/GATE mark sheets.
