Who Can Apply?
- Citizenship: Must be a citizen of India.
- PRC: Must possess a valid Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) of Arunachal Pradesh.
- APST: Must hold an Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe (APST) Certificate.
- Language: Must have knowledge of a notified indigenous tribal language of Arunachal Pradesh and local indigenous tribes.

Final Semester Candidates: Candidates appearing or having appeared in the final semester of the qualifying examination may also apply, subject to producing proof of passing on or before the interview date.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 21 Years
- Maximum Age: 35 Years
- APST Relaxation: 5 Years
- PwBD Relaxation: 10 Years, with additional relaxation for APST PwBD candidates as applicable.
- A one-time upper-age relaxation is applicable to eligible candidates of certain previously cancelled examinations.
- Age will be calculated as on 30 September 2026.
Selection Process & Exam Pattern
- Screening Recruitment Test: Objective-type test of 200 marks, if required based on the number of applicants.
- Written Examination: Total 450 marks.
- General English & General Studies: 150 marks.
- Concerned Subject Paper-I: 150 marks.
- Concerned Subject Paper-II: 150 marks.
- Viva-Voce: 50 marks.
- Final Merit: Based on Written Examination and Viva-Voce, totaling 500 marks.
