The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) - North East Institute of Science and Technology (CSIR-NEIST), located in Jorhat, Assam, is inviting online applications from eligible Indian citizens for the recruitment of Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) and Driver positions under Advertisement No. 01/2026-REC.

Qualification:
➧ Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th) or equivalent from a recognized board. Intermediate (12th pass) is desirable.
➧ Driver: Candidates must have passed 10th standard and possess a valid LMV & HMV driving license along with knowledge of motor mechanisms and at least 3 years of driving experience.
Salary:
➧ Rs.33,375/- for Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS).
➧ Rs.36,700/- for Driver.
Age limit: The maximum age limit is 25 years for Multi-Tasking Staff posts and 27 years for Driver posts. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD and Ex-servicemen candidates will be applicable as per Government of India rules.
Selection Process
The selection process includes shortlisting of candidates followed by a Trade Test, Skill Test, or Competitive Written Examination. The detailed selection procedure will be notified later on the official CSIR-NEIST website.
