CIL Management Trainee Vacancy 2026
CIL is inviting online applications from young and energetic candidates for recruitment to the post of Management Trainee (Mining) in E-1 Grade.
The recruitment will be conducted strictly based on GATE-2025 scores. Selected candidates will undergo 1-year training-cum-probation before regular appointment.
Candidates will also need to execute a service agreement bond of ₹3 Lakhs plus GST to serve the company for at least 60 months.

CIL Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
The selection process includes the following stages:
1. Shortlisting
Candidates will be shortlisted based on GATE-2025 scores in a 1:3 ratio category-wise.
2. Tie-Breaking Rule
If two candidates obtain the same GATE score:
Higher Mining Engineering marks/CGPA will be considered.
If still tied, older candidates will be ranked higher.
3. Document Verification & Medical Examination
Shortlisted candidates will be called for:
Document Verification (DV)
Initial Medical Examination (IME)
Final appointment will be issued only after successful verification and medical fitness.
