Qualification for SEBI Officer Recruitment
- General: Master’s/PG Diploma (2 yrs) in any discipline, Law, Engineering, CA, CFA, CS, or CMA.
- Legal: Bachelor’s Degree in Law with 2 years as an Advocate or in a law firm (desirable).
- Information Technology (IT): B.E./B.Tech in any branch or Bachelor’s with PG (2 yrs) in CS/IT/Computer Applications.
- Research: Master’s/PG Diploma (2 yrs) in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.
- Official Language: Masters in Hindi/Hindi Translation with English, or Master’s in Sanskrit/English/Economics/Commerce with Hindi at graduation.
- Engineering (Electrical): Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with Experience with electrical systems, maintenance, and project administration (desirable).
- Engineering (Civil): Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with Experience in maintenance, construction, and project management with knowledge of PERT/CPM (desirable).

- Age Limit: Max 30 years as on 30 Sept 2025 (born on or after 01 Oct 1995); relaxations as per rules.
- Selection Process: Three phases - Phase I (online, 2 papers), Phase II (online, 2 papers), Interview. SEBI may modify process.
- Probation: 2 years for Officers Grade ‘A’.
- Pay & Benefits: ₹62,500–₹1,26,100 (Grade A scale), as per SEBI structure.
