Notice
regarding the hiring of Young Professionals and Consultants in various offices of
Central Ground Water Board (CGWB), Department of Water Resources, River Development
and Ganga Rejuvenation, Ministry of Jal Shakti.
Central
Ground Water Board (CGWB) is implementing the National Aquifer Mapping and
Management Programme (NAQUIM). With a view to supplementing professional manpower
for achieving the targets for NAQUIM program, CGWB proposes to hire consultants
and young professionals to support their officers. In this regard, applications
are invited from willing and eligible individuals (including retired govt
servants, wherever eligible) for hiring on a purely temporary basis for the
following positions on fixed remuneration basis for a period of three years
from the date of hire which may be extended or curtailed as per the
functional need. Terms and Conditions, Eligibility criteria, etc., for engaging

Essential
Work Experience: 10 years of working experience in the field
of groundwater/ hydrogeology.
Desirable
Experience, knowledge & skills:
• Working knowledge of GIS.
• Working knowledge of computers and
common software packages (MS WORD, EXCEL, etc.)
• Proficiency in the compilation, editing
and reviewing scientific reports in the English language.
Remuneration: Consultant Rs1,00,000 ± 5% depending upon educational qualification
and experience as per the recommendation of the evaluation committee. In the case
of retired government servants, the remuneration shall be as per prevailing
guidelines issued by DoPT in relation to the conduct of pensioners as per GFR 2017.
Age limit: Maximum age limit for appointment of Consultants shall be
65 years as on 01.01.2020 (born on or after 01.01.1955)

Remuneration: Young Professional Rs. 45,000 ± 5% depending upon
educational qualification and experience as per the recommendation of the
evaluation committee.
Age limit: Maximum age limit for appointment of Young Professionals shall
be 30 years as on 01.01.2020 (born on or after 01.01.1990)
