The candidates, who applied earlier in response to Notification No. WB/G-1620/2019-20/250 Dated Guwahati, the 08th September, 2020 of Pollution Control Board, Assam will have to apply again for the same posts for which they applied earlier. The are advised to update their profile through the specified link in the portal. However, they need not to pay the requisite fees again for the posts applied earlier. Eligibility Criteria for PCB Assam Recruitment
(a) Nationality: Candidates must be an Indian Citizen and a permanent resident of Assam.
(b) Age: Candidate should not be more than 38 years and less than 18 years of age as on 1st January, 2023 (Candidate must be born on or before 01-01-2005 and on or after 01-01-1985) subject to Govt. notification from time to time. The age of the candidates will be on the basis of the HSLC or equivalent examination Pass Certificate issued by recognized Board/Council and no other document shall be accepted in lieu of the mentioned documents.
(c) Educational Qualification:
(i) Assistant Engineer (AE): BE., B.Tech/AMIE in Chemical/Civil/Environmental/Mechanical Engineering from a Government recognized University/Institute.
(ii) Environmental Scientist: M.Sc. in Chemical/Biological/Life/Environmental Science from a Government recognized University/Institute.
(iii) Scientific Assistant-III: Minimum HSSLC level with Chemistry/Biology from a Government recognized Institute.
(iv) Assistant Programmer: B.Sc. (IT/Comp. Sc.), BCA, B.Sc. with DOEACC ‘A’ Level/PGDCA from a Government recognized University/Institute.
(v) Assistant Planning and Research Officer: Master Degree in Geography/Economics/ Statistics/Mass Communication from a Government recognized University/Institute. Reading and writing skills in Assamese are preferable.
(vi) Junior Accountant (JA): B.Com/BBA from a recognized University with minimum 6 Months Certificate/Diploma in Computer Applications. Candidates having M.Com degree shall be preferred.
(vii) Administrative Assistant – II (AA-II): Graduate in Any Discipline with minimum 6 Months Certificate/Diploma in Computer Applications.
(viii) Grade-IV: Class-X/HSLC passed from a government recognized Institute.
Selection Procedure of PCB Assam Recruitment
# There will be two phases of Tests (i) Written Test and (ii) Personal Interview/Viva-voce for all the above-mentioned posts.
# Candidates whose applications are found correct in all respects will be called for a Written Test. The candidates will have to appear for the Written Test in the venue mentioned in his/her Admit Card.
# Candidates appeared in the written test will be called for the VIVA-VOCE/PERSONAL INTERVIEW on the basis of merit in the ratio of 1:4, wherein original documents/testimonials of the candidates shall be verified.
# Merit list shall be prepared for each cadre of posts category wise i.e., Unreserved, OBC/MOBC, SC, ST(P), ST(H), etc. separately as per vacancies for different posts.

# If a candidate applies for more than one post, his/her application fees will be the sum of all the selected posts as per his/her category. No refund will be entertained after final submission of application by the candidate.
How to Apply for Pollution Control Board Assam Vacancy?
# The candidates having the required essential qualification’s for the posts, as mentioned above, may apply for more than one post by submitting their first preference, second preference, etc.
# Candidates will be required to upload scanned copies of the following: -
(a) Passport size Photograph: Good quality coloured and distinct recent photograph (with white or a very light background) in a JPEG format with maximum file size of 100 kb (kilo bytes) but not less than 50 kb. Please not that the photograph uploaded will be printed on the admit card for exam.
(b) Signature: Scanned signature, with a black or dark blue ink on a white paper, shall be uploaded in JPEG image with maximum file size is 100 kb.
(c) Self-attested Documents: All documents should be uploaded in PDF Format with maximum file size of 500 kb.
(i) Certificate of proof of age (Admit card or Pass Certificate of HSLC or equivalent examination).
(ii) Certificate/Mark sheet of all examinations from HSLC onwards up to the level of qualifying examination.
(iii) Minimum 6 (Six) months basic computer certificate/diploma course certificate for the post of Junior Accountant and Administrative Assistant-II.
(iv) Certificate of Caste.
(v) Voter-ID Card/Aadhaar card.
(vi) Certificate from the competent authority in case of differently able candidates.
