Are these permanent government positions?
No, these appointments are purely on a temporary contractual basis for an initial duration of one year, or until regular institutional recruitment fills the vacancy, or the candidate reaches 70 years of age.
Do I need to attend the interview in person at the Guwahati campus?
It depends on the position you are targeting. Medical and administrative profiles like Doctor, Physiotherapist, Computer Instructor, or Assistant Accountant will feature a Virtual mode interview. Trade and desk profiles like LDC, Driver, Electrician, Cook, and Hostel In-charge require an Offline mode interview on campus.
What is the last date to register for the interview?
Candidates must submit their completed data on the online portal on or before 20 June 2026. Late entries or walk-ins without prior portal registration will not be accepted.
