Criteria:-
I. Head of Department
a) Postgraduate degree in any subject with minimum 55% marks or
equivalent grade
b) M.Ed.
c) Ph.D. in Education
d) Minimum eight years of teaching experience in a teacher education
institute
II. Assistant Professor (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany,
English and Assamese)
a) Postgraduate degree in respective subjects (Mathematics, Physics,
Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, English and Assamese) with minimum 55% marks or
equivalent grade
b) B.Ed. degree with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade
c) National Eligibility Test / State Level Eligibility Test /Ph.D. in
Education or in the concerned subject as prescribed by the University Grants
Commission
III. Assistant Professor (Education)
a) Postgraduate degree in Education (M.Ed.) with minimum 55% marks or
equivalent grade
b) National Eligibility Test / State Level Eligibility Test /Ph.D. in

IV. Lecturer (Health and Physical Education)
Master of Physical Education (M.P.Ed.) with minimum 55% marks or
