Eligibility Criteria
- M&HO-I: MBBS Degree from a recognized institution and valid registration with the Assam Medical Council.
- Registrar/Demonstrator/Resident Physician: MD/MS/DNB in the concerned specialty from an NMC/NBE-recognized institution.
- Pre-Clinical Departments: M.Sc with Ph.D. in the relevant discipline may be considered as specified for the concerned post.
- Super-Specialty Posts: Relevant MD/DNB or MS/DNB qualification is required according to the concerned specialty. DM/M.Ch/DrNB candidates may receive preference where applicable.
- Registration: Candidates must meet the applicable medical council registration requirements.
Age Limit
The prescribed age is calculated as on 01 January 2026.
- M&HO-I: 21 to 38 Years.
- Registrar/Demonstrator/Resident Physician: 21 to 45 Years.
- PwBD Candidates: Upper age relaxation as applicable under the recruitment rules.
- Reserved-category candidates will receive relaxation according to Government of Assam rules.
