Meghalaya Public Service Commission (MPSC), Shillong, has released an official advertisement (Advt. No. 11/2025) on its career portal (mpsc.nic.in) for the recruitment of 33 Sub-Divisional Officer/ Assistant Engineer (Civil) posts under the PHE and PWD Departments. 1. Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO)/Assistant Engineer (Civil)

  • No. of Posts: 10 [UR: 01, Khasi-Jaintia: 05, Garo: 04]
  • Department: Public Health Engineering (PHE) Department
  • Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institution or its equivalent
  • Pay Scale: Level-15 of the Revised Pay Structure.
  • Age Limit: 21 to 32 years as on 01.01.2025. Upper age relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
2. Assistant Engineer (Civil)

  • No. of Posts: 17 [UR: 02, Khasi-Jaintia: 07, Garo: 07, OST/SC: 01]
  • Department: Public Works Department (R&B)
  • Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institution or its equivalent
  • Pay Scale: Level-15 of the Revised Pay Structure.
  • Age Limit: 21 to 32 years as on 01.01.2025. Upper age relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
3. Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO)/Assistant Engineer (Electrical)

  • No. of Posts: 06 [UR: 01, Khasi-Jaintia: 02, Garo: 03]
  • Department: Public Health Engineering (PHE) Department
  • Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/Institution
  • Pay Scale: Level-15 of the Revised Pay Structure.
  • Age Limit: 21 to 32 years as on 01.01.2025. Upper age relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

Application Fee (MPSC Shillong)

  • For Posts at Sl. No. 1 & 2: ₹460/-
  • SC/ST (Permanent residents of Meghalaya): 50% of the above fee
