Indian Air Force (AIF) has released employment news notification for the recruitment 1515 posts of Group C Civilian at various Air Force Stations/Units vacancies. Interested and eligible candidates read advertisement and may apply offline form.

IAF Group-C Civilian Vacancy 2021 Details

1. Senior Computer Operator

No. of Posts: 02 (Two)

Qualification/Experience: Graduate in Mathematics or Statistics from a recognized University and One year experience in the Electronic Data Processing.

2. Supdt (Store)

No. of Posts: 66 (Sixty Six)

Qualification/Experience: Graduate of a recognized University or equivalent. Experience in handling Stores and keeping Accounts in a store of a concern of repute in Public or Private Sector.

3. Steno Grade-II

No. of Posts: 39 (Thirty nine)

Qualification/Experience: 12th Class pass or equivalent from recognized Board or University. Skill Test Norm: Dictation: 10 Mts @ 80 wpm, Transcription: 50 Mts (Eng.), 65 Mts (Hindi) on Computer.

4. Lower Division Clerk (LDC)

No. of Posts: 53 (Fifty Three)

Qualification/Experience: 12th Class pass from a recognized Board. A typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on computer (35 wpm and 30 wpm correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word).

5. Hindi Typist

No. of Posts: 12 (Twelve)

Qualification/Experience: 12th Class pass from a recognized Board. A typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on computer (35 wpm and 30 wpm correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word).

6. Store Keeper

No. of Posts: 15 (Fifteen)

Qualification/Experience: 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University. Experience in handling Stores and keeping Accounts in a store of a concern of repute in Public or Private sector.

7. Civilian Mechanical Transport Driver (Ordinary Grade)

No. of Posts: 49 (Forty nine)

Qualification/Experience: Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized board or university; Must be holding a valid Civil Driving License for light and heavy vehicles; Must possess professional skill in driving and knowledge of motor mechanism; Minimum two years experience in driving motor vehicles.

8. Cook (Ordinary Grade)

No. of Posts: 124 (One hundred twenty four)

Qualification/Experience: Matriculation from a recognized Board with a certificate or diploma in catering; 1 year experience in trade.

9. Painter (Skilled)

No. of Posts: 27 (Twenty seven)

Qualification/Experience: 10th pass from a recognized Board or Institute. Industrial Training Institute Certificate in the trade of Painter from a recognized institute or Ex-servicemen in appropriate trade viz. Painter.

10. Carpenter

No. of Posts: 31 (Thirty one)

Qualification/Experience: 10th pass from a recognized Board or Institute. Industrial Training Institute Certificate in the trade of Carpenter from a recognized institute or Ex-servicemen in appropriate trade viz. Carpenter Rigger.

11. Ayah/Ward Sahayika

No. of Posts: 24 (Twenty four)

Qualification/Experience: Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University. One year of experience as Ayah in Hospitals or Nursing Homes from an Organization or Institute. 

12. Housekeeping Staff (Female Safaiwali/HKS)

No. of Posts: 345 (Three hundred forty five)

Qualification/Experience: Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized University or Board.

13. Laundryman

No. of Posts: 24 (Twenty four)

Qualification/Experience: Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University. One year of experience as Dhobi from an Organization or Institute.

14. Mess Staff

No. of Posts: 190 (One hundred ninety)

Qualification/Experience: Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University. One year of experience as Waiter or Washer up from an Organization or Institute.

15. MTS

No. of Posts: 404 (Four hundred Four)

Qualification/Experience: Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University. One year of experience as Watch-man or Lascar or Gestetner Operator or Gardener from an Organization or Institute.

16. Vulcaniser

No. of Posts: 07 (Seven)

Qualification/Experience: Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University Or Ex-servicemen from appropriate trade.

17. Tailor (Skilled)

No. of Posts: 07 (Seven)

Qualification/Experience: 10th Class with ITI

18. Tinsmith

No. of Post: 01 (One)

Qualification/Experience: 10th Class with ITI

19. Copper Smith & Sheet Metal Worker (CS&SMW) (Skilled)

No. of Posts: 03 (Three)

Qualification/Experience: 10th Class with ITI

20. Fireman

No. of Posts: 42 (Forty two)

Qualification/Experience: Matriculation, Training (Fire Fighting).

21. Fire Engine Driver

No. of Posts: 04 (Four)

Qualification/Experience: Matriculation, 3 Year Experience.

22. FMT (Fitter Mechanical Transport) (Skilled)

No. of Posts: 12 (Twelve)

Qualification/Experience: 10th Class with ITI

23. Tradesman Mate

No. of Posts: 23 (Twenty three)

Qualification/Experience: Matriculation.

24. Leather Worker (Skilled)

No. of Posts: 02 (Two)

Qualification/Experience: 10th pass from a recognized Board or Institute. Industries Training Institute Certificate in the trade of Leader Goods Maker from a recognized Institute or Ex-servicemen in appropriate trade with two years experience. 

25. Turner (Skilled)

No. of Post: 01 (One)

Qualification/Experience: 10th pass from a recognized Board or Institute. Industries Training Institute Certificate in the trade of Turner from a recognized Institute or Ex-servicemen in appropriate trade.

26. Wireless Operator Mechanic HSW Gd-II (WOM HSW)

No. of Post: 01 (One)

Qualification/Experience: Industrial Training Institute Certificate in the trade of Wireless Operator Mechanic with two years experience. Or Ex-servicemen from Wireless Operator Mechanic trade with three years’ service. 

Age limit of IAF Group-C Civilian Recruitment

#For all posts 18-25 years (The crucial date for determining age limit is the last date of receipt of application). Age relaxation;

(i) 03 years for the candidates belonging to OBC.

(ii) 05 years for the candidates belonging to SC/ST category.

(iii) 10 years for the candidates belonging to Physically Handicapped. (Additional 05 years in case of Physically handicapped belonging to SC, ST & 03 years for OBC category).

(iv) Ex-servicemen who have rendered not less than 06 months of continuous service in the Armed Forces shall be allowed to deduct the full period of such service from their actual age and if the resultant age does not exceed the prescribed maximum age by more than three years, they shall be deemed to the within age limits.

(v) SC/ST/OBC candidates applying against UNRESERVED post are not entitled to any relaxation in age limit, experience etc.

(vi) Department Employees:-

#40 years for UR
#43 years for OBC
#45 years for SC/ST

#Eligible candidates can apply to any of the above Air Force Station of their Choice subject to the vacancies and qualifications. Application as per format given under (typed in English/Hindi), duly supported with the following documents is to reach the concerned Air Force Station as per choice within 30 days from the last date of the publication of this advertisement in ‘Employment News/ Rozgar Samachar’.

#Application form duly typed in English/Hindi with recent photograph (passport size) duly self attested. Any other supporting document (self attested), Self addressed envelope with stamp (s) Rs.10/- pasted. Address should be typed in English/Hindi. Separate application for each post should be forwarded. Applicants to mention clearly on the envelope “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF… AND CATEGORY…….”
