Education Sikkim Recruitment 2025: The Education Department, Government of Sikkim, Gangtok, has released an official notification for the recruitment of 59 Special Educator posts for Upper Primary, Secondary, and Senior Secondary levels under Inclusive Education. Interested and eligible candidates may apply offline on or before 15th September 2025.

Education Sikkim Recruitment 2025 Details


1. Special Educator (Upper Primary)

  • No. of posts: 47
  • Qualification: Class XII with two years of Diploma in Special Education from recognised University and Valid Registration Certificate of Rehabilitation Council of India.
  • Age: Should have attend the age of 18 years but should not have exceeded 40 years.
2. Special Educator (Secondary & Senior Secondary)

  • No. of posts: 12
  • Qualification: Graduate with B.Ed. (Special Education) from recognised University or B.Ed. (General) with Post Graduate Diploma (PGPD) in Special Education and Valid Registration Certificate of Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
  • Age: Should have attend the age of 18 years but should not have exceeded 40 years.

Selection Process: Selection process will be through Screening cum Interview. The Department reserves the right to change/modify the selection process at any time, during the process, at its discretion. The decision of the dept. will be final and binding.

Application Fee: Application fee amounting to Rs.200/- should be submitted through Revenue receipt and must be deposited under head 0202-01-101-03 (Elementary Education).

How to Apply for Education Sikkim Recruitment?


Candidates are advised to visit Inclusive Education Cell, Ground floor of Education Department Govt. of Sikkim, Tashiling, Gangtok with their documents on or before 15th September, 2025. (until 4.00pm).

Required Documents:-

(i) Candidate must be in possession of either Sikkim Subject Certificate or Certificate of Identification issued by the competent authority under relevant rules orders of the State Government (attested copy).

(ii) Category Certificate issued by the competent authority of the Government of Sikkim.

(iii) Should have valid Local Employment Card issued by the appropriate authority of the Government of Sikkim.

(iv) No Objection Certificate from the Head of Department in case o employed candidate.

(v) Martial Status certificate (for female candidate). In case of married women candidate COI/SSC of Husband should be enclosed.

(vi) Typed resume.

(vii) Mark sheets and certificates of Class X, XII, and Graduation.

(viii) Mark sheet, Degree, and Valid RCI Certificate of Special B.Ed.

(ix) Renewed Employment Card (attested copy).

(x) Original documents must be presented for verification.

(xi) Two copies of passport size photographs.
