National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC) has announced the recruitment of 248 vacancies for Assistant Rajbhasha Officer (ARO), Junior Engineer (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and E&C), Supervisor (IT), Senior Accountant, and Hindi Translator, with online applications open from 2nd September 2025 to 1st October 2025.

Eligibility for NHPC Recruitment 2025
1. Assistant Rajbhasha Officer (ARO)
Qualification: Master’s degree from a recognized Indian University in Hindi with English as an elective subject at the degree level or Master’s degree from a recognized Indian University in English with Hindi as an elective subject at the degree level. Candidate must have secured minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade in Master’s degree for General/OBC/EWS and 50% marks or equivalent grade for SC/ST/PwBD.
Experience: Three years’ post qualification experience as on last date of application in the relevant field.
2. Junior Engineer (Civil)
Qualification: Full time three years regular Diploma in Civil Engineering from Government/ Government recognized Institutes with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade for General/ OBC/EWS and 50% marks or equivalent grade for SC/ST/PwBD.
Note: Higher technical qualification like B.Tech./B.E. without the essential qualification i.e. full-time regular Diploma is not eligible/allowed.
3. Junior Engineer (Electrical)
Qualification: Full time three years regular Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Government/ Government recognized Institutes with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade for General/OBC/ EWS and 50% marks or equivalent grade for SC/ST/PwBD.
Note: Higher technical qualification like B.Tech./B.E. without the essential qualification i.e. full-time regular Diploma is not eligible/allowed.
4. Junior Engineer (Mechanical)
Qualification: Full time three years regular Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Government/ Government recognized Institutes with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade for General/OBC/ EWS and 50% marks or equivalent grade for SC/ST/PwBD.
Note: Higher technical qualification like B.Tech./B.E. without the essential qualification i.e. full-time regular Diploma is not eligible/allowed.
5. Junior Engineer (E & C)
Qualification: Full time three years regular Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Government/Government recognized Institutes with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade for General/OBC/EWS and 50% marks or equivalent grade for SC/ST/PwBD.
Note: Higher technical qualification like B.Tech./B.E. without the essential qualification i.e. full-time regular Diploma is not eligible/allowed.
6. Supervisor (IT)
Qualification: Graduate with DOEACC ‘A’ level course from Government/Government recognized Institutes with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade. OR Three years polytechnic Diploma in Computer Science/IT from Government/Government recognized Institutes with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade. OR BCA/BSc (Computer Science/IT) from Government/Government recognized Institutes with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade.
7. Sr. Accountant
Qualification: Inter CA Pass or Inter CMA Pass candidates are eligible to apply.
8. Hindi Translator
Qualification: Master's degree from a recognized Indian university in Hindi with English as an elective subject at the Degree level or Master's Degree from a recognized Indian university in English with Hindi as an elective subject at the degree level. Pass candidates are eligible to apply.
Experience: One-year post qualification experience as on last date of application in the field of using/ applying terminology (terminological work) in Hindi and translation work from English to Hindi and Vice Versa in Central/State Govt./PSU. OR One-year post qualification experience in research or teaching in Hindi in Central/State Govt. Educational Institute. OR Degree/Diploma in translation from English to Hindi and vice versa from recognized Indian University.
Application Fee of NHPC Recruitment 2025
Candidates belonging to General/EWS/OBC category are required to pay a non-refundable fee of 600/- plus applicable Taxes i.e. Rs.708/- per application. Bank Charges/Processing charges including GST (if any) shall be extra borne by the candidate only. The SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen/Female candidates need not pay the Registration Fee. Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Candidates are, therefore, requested to verify their eligibility & correctness of information on Application Form before paying the Registration Fee.
Test Centre for NHPC Recruitment 2025
The Computer Based Online Test (CBT) and Written Test (as applicable) will be held in 19 Cities* as mentioned in the 'Online' Application system. Candidates shall have to select preferred examination city (limited to three choices) from the given list of exam cities in the Online application form. However, NHPC reserves the right to cancel or add any Centre depending upon the response of the candidates for that area/centre. Admission to the test centre will be on allowed production of Admit Card which is to be downloaded from NHPC website only.
