Gauhati Medical College Vacancy 2021 Details
1. Scientist C (Medical)
No. of post: 01 (One)
Essential Qualification:
- Post Graduate Degree (MD/MS/DNII) in Microbiology with one year R&D/teaching experience or Postgraduate diploma in Microbiology with two years R&D/teaching experience in the required subject from recognized university. Or
- MBBS degree recognized by MCI or equivalent degree from recognized university with 4 years R&D/teaching experience in the required subject after MBBS degree. Or
- BDS/B.V.Sc.&A1-1 degree recognized by DCI/VCI with 5 years R&D/teaching experience in the relevant subject after BDS/B.V.Sc degree.
- Desirable Qualification: (i) MS in Microbiology from a recognized university for candidates with first class relevant degree. (ii) Additional research/training experience in Microbiology in recognized institutes. (iii) R&D experience in virology laboratory (Molecular, immunological, cell culture) at least for three years. (iv) Training of virology or molecular techniques. (v) Knowledge of Computer Applications or Business Intelligence tools/Data Management. (vi) Two years R&D/teaching experience in relevant subject after obtaining essential qualification. (vii) Research publications.
Pay: Rs.67000+HRA per month

2. Scientific C (Non medical)
No. of post: 01 (One)
Essential Qualification:
- B.Tech degree in Biotechnology with six years R&D/teaching experience in the relevant subject after B. Tech degree. Or,
- First class master’s degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology from a recognized university with 4 years R&D/teaching experience in the relevant subject after 1st class master degree. Or,
- Second class M.Sc. + Ph.D. degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology from a recognized University with 4 years R&D/teaching experience in the relevant subject after M.Sc. + Ph.D.
- Desirable Qualification: (i) Doctorate degree or M.Tech degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology from a recognized university for candidates with first class relevant degree. (ii) Additional Post-doctoral research/training experience in Microbiology/Biotechnology in recognized institutes. (iii) R&D experience in Virology Laboratory (Molecular, immunological cell culture) for at least three years. (iv) Training of virology or molecular techniques. (v) Knowledge of Computer Applications or Business Intelligence tools Data Management (vi) Research publications.

- 2nd class M.Sc. + Ph. D degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology from a recognized university.
- Desirable Qualification: (i) Doctorate or M.Tech Degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology from a recognized university for candidates with first class relevant degree. (ii) Additional Post doctoral research training experience in Microbiology/Biotechnology in relevant subjects in recognized institutes. (iii) R&D experience in Virology Laboratory (Molecular, Immunological, cell culture) at least for two years. 5. Laboratory Technician

- Essential Qualification: B.Sc./Intermediate with diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or high School with 5 years Lab Experience.
- Desirable Qualification: (i) Minimum three year experience in Microbiology, preferably in Virology and molecular biology. (ii) Hands on experience of doing ELISA. (iii) Knowledge of Computer Application.

- Essential Qualification: High School/Manic/equivalent from a recognized board.

7. Date Entry Operator
- No. of post: 01 (One)
- Essential Qualification: Graduate from a recognized institute with expertise in MS office and data entry related stork.
- Desirable Qualification: (i) Minimum one year experience in relevant field in reputed office. (ii) Preference will be given to BCA/B.Sc. (IT) or equivalent from recognized university/institution. (iii) Typing speed 40 characters per minute (iv) Basic knowledge of software and hardware and able to attend trouble shooting of computers, printers and network connectivity. (v) Ability to compile health related report.
