Social Welfare Imphal Job Information Details
1. Project Coordinator cum Vocational Counsellor
- No. of posts: 01 (One)
- Qualification & Experience: Graduate with experience of managing such centres for a minimum period of 3 years of running such centres and having working knowledge of computers.
- Remuneration: Rs.21650/- per month
2. Doctor (Part-time)
- No. of posts: 02 (Two)
- Qualification & Experience: MBBS and preferably with a Training Certificate in Addiction Medicine from a recognized Institute.
- Remuneration: Rs.26550/- per month
3. Counsellor/Social Worker/Psychologist
- No. of Posts: 06 (Six)
- Qualification & Experience: Graduate in any discipline with three years experience in the field. He/She must preferably hold a Certificate of three months Training Course in de-addiction counselling by NISD and should have knowledge of English as well as one regional language.
- Remuneration: Rs.17700/- per month
4. Nurse
- No. of posts: 04 (Four)
- Qualification: Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) trained by a recognized medical institution.
- Remuneration: Rs.14600/- per month
5. Accountant cum Clerk
- No. of post: 01 (One)
- Qualification: Graduate with knowledge of accounts and working knowledge of computers.
- Remuneration: Rs.12750/- per month
6. Ward Boys
- No. of posts: 02 (Two)
- Qualification: Class X and preferably experienced in such centres.
- Remuneration: Rs.14600/- per month
7. Peer Educator
No. of post: 01 (One)
Qualification & Experience:
- Should be literate, Ex-drug user with 1-2 years of sobriety.
- Willing to work among drug using population as well as possessing qualities like empathy, communication skills.
- Willing to get trainer; Agrees to refrain from using, buying, or selling drugs; read to work for the prevention of harmful drug use and relapse.
8. Cook
- No. of posts: 02 (Two)
- Qualification: Class X with cooking skills
- Remuneration: Rs.9950/- per month
9. Yoga therapist
- No. of post: 01 (One)
- Qualification: Class X with a Diploma Course Certificate on Yoga Therapy.
- Remuneration: Rs.9950/- per month
10. Chowkidar
- No. of post: 01 (One)
- Qualification: Class X with good physique
- Remuneration: Rs.7850/- per month
11. Sweeper
- No. of post: 01 (One)
- Qualification: Class X
- Remuneration: Rs.7850/-
Age limit: A minimum of 18 years and not more than 38 (thirty eight) years as on 01.12.2021. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for ST/S and 3 years for OBC.

The completed application forms along with requisite self-attested certificates/ documents should be submitted to the Directorate Head Quarter, Department of Social Welfare, Near 2nd MR Gate, AT Line, Imphal on or before 27/12/2021 on working days between 10:30 am to 04:00 pm on cash payment of requisite fee. Fee: Rs.500/- for Unreserved categories and Rs.300/- for ST/SC/OBC.
