NERIST Recruitment Details


1. Deputy Registrar

  • No. of post: 01 (UR)
  • Essential: Master’s Degree or equivalent with 55% marks.
  • Desirable: Qualification in area of Law/Management/Engineering.
  • Experience: (i) Experience of computer application/e-office systems. (ii) Experience in establishment/academic/financial administration in academic or research organisation.
  • Pay Band: Level-12 of Rs.78800+allowances.
  • Age: Not exceeding 50 years.
2. Sports Officer

  • No. of post: 01 (UR)
  • Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education.
  • Experience: At least 03 years’ experience in conducting sports events.  
  • Pay Band: Level-6 of Rs.35400 + allowances. 
  • Age: Not exceeding 30 years.
3. Nurse

  • No. of post: 01 (UR)
  • Essential: (i) Intermediate (10+2 with science) or equivalent and must have passed the examination held by the Nursing Council with 3 years course in General Nursing and Mid-wifery with at least 55% marks from are recognized Board/Institute. (ii) Registered as A-grade Nurse with Nursing Council.
  • Experience: At least 03 years of relevant experience in a hospital.
  • Desirable: B.Sc. (Nursing) from a recognized University/Institute with one year of relevant experience.
  • Pay Band: Level-6 of Rs.35400 + allowances. 
  • Age: Not exceeding 30 years.
4. Laboratory Tech. Assistant

  • No. of posts: 34 (Thirty-four)
  • Qualification: (i) A Bachelor’s Degree (four years) in Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 55% marks. Or Three years Diploma in Engineering/applied Science or equivalent in appropriate field with a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying degree from a recognized University/Institute with three years relevant experience. (ii) Proficiency in the use of a variety of computer office applications, M.S. Word, Excel, Power-point or equivalent.
  • Pay Band: Level-5 of Rs.29200 + allowances. 
  • Age: Not exceeding 30 years.
5. Computer Programmer

  • No. of post: 01 (UR)
  • Qualification: Degree in Computer Science and Engineering.
  • Experience: 3 years’ experience.
  • Pay Band: Level-5 of Rs.29200 + allowances. 
  • Age: Not exceeding 30 years.
6. Upper Division Clerk (UDC)/Caretaker

  • No. of posts: 03 (Three)
  • Qualification: Graduate in any discipline. Knowledge of computer application and typing with prescribed speed by DoPT.
  • Pay Band: Level-4 of Rs.25500 + allowances. 
  • Age: Not exceeding 30 years.
7. Stenographer-III

  • No. of posts: 02 (ST)
  • Qualification: Graduate in any discipline with stenography speed having 80 wpm and 40 wpm in typing respectively with knowledge of computer application.
  • Pay Band: Level-4 of Rs.25500 + allowances. 
  • Age: Not exceeding 30 years.
8. Technician

  • No. of posts: 06 (Six)
  • Qualification: Class X pass and with ITI/NTC in the relevant trade.
  • Experience: 02 years’ experience. 
  • Pay Band: Level-4 of Rs.25500 + allowances. 
  • Age: Not exceeding 30 years.
9. Skilled Worker

  • No. of posts: 17 (Seventeen)
  • Qualification: Class X pass with ITI/NTC in the relevant trade or Class-XI (Science) passed with at least 02 years’ experience in the relevant department. In case of Physics and Chemistry the educational qualification would be Xth pass with any ITI/NTC.
  • Pay Band: Level-2 of Rs.19900 + allowances. 
  • Age: Not exceeding 30 years.
10. Sorter

  • No. of post: 01 (UR)
  • Essential: Higher Secondary (12th Std.) or its equivalent from a recognized board.
  • Desirable: (i) Proficiency in computer word processing and spread sheet. (ii) Completion of any certificate course in Library science from a recognized organization/institution.
  • Pay Band: Level-2 of Rs.19900 + allowances. 
  • Age: Not exceeding 30 years.
11. Classifier Cataloguer

  • No. of posts: 02 (UR)
  • Qualification: B.Lib from a recognized University/Institute.
  • Experience: Two years’ experience in acquisition of books, periodicals and documentary works in a library of an Institute or other Library or Standing.
  • Pay Band: Level-2 of Rs.19900 + allowances. 
  • Age: Not exceeding 30 years.
12. Lower Division Clerk (LDC)

  • No. of posts: 06 (Six)
  • Qualification: 10+2 pass or equivalent from a recognized Board with typing speed 30 wpm with knowledge of computer application.
  • Pay Band: Level-2 of Rs.19900 + allowances. 
  • Age: Not exceeding 30 years.
13. Driver

  • No. of posts: 03 (ST)
  • Essential: (i) Pass in Class-X (ii) Possession of a valid driving license for motors cars. (iii) Knowledge of motor mechanism (the candidate should be able to remove minor defects in vehicle).
  • Desirable: Experience of driving a motor car for at least 3 years.
  • Pay Band: Level-2 of Rs.19900 + allowances. 
  • Age: Not exceeding 30 years.
