Qualification for TRBT STPGT Recruitment 2025
(a) Post Graduate in relevant subject/allied subject (equivalency of which to be determined by Equivalence Committee) with at least 50% marks (or its equivalent) from recognized University and Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) from National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) recognised institution.
OR
(b) Post Graduate in relevant subject/allied subject (equivalency of which to be determined by Equivalence Committee) with at least 45% marks (or its equivalent) from recognized University and Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) from National Council for Teacher Education recognised institution {in accordance with the National Council for Teacher Education (Form of application for recognition, the time limit of submission of application, determination of norms and standards for recognition of teacher education programmes and permission to start new course or training) Regulations, 2002 notified on 13.11.2002 and National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2007 notified on 10.12.2007}.
OR
(c) Post Graduate in relevant subject/allied subject (equivalency of which to be determined by Equivalence Committee) with at least 50% marks (or its equivalent) from recognized University and B.A. Ed./B.Sc. Ed. from any NCTE recognised institution.
Age limit for TRBT STPGT Recruitment 2025
The upper age limit is up to 40 years as of 18.08.2025. It is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST/PH candidates and Government servants; however, government employees belonging to the SC/ST/PH category shall not receive additional relaxation beyond the general 5-year relaxation available to them. The upper age limit is also relaxable for Ex-Servicemen (ESM) as per the applicable norms.
Application Fee of TRBT STPGT Recruitment 2025
The test fee for UR category applicants is Rs.300 (Rupees three hundred only), and for reserved category applicants (SC/ST/PH), it is Rs. 200 (Rupees two hundred only). Fees once deposited will not be refunded or adjusted for any other test in the future. Candidates must pay the test fees online using a debit or credit card or internet banking only. No other mode of payment will be accepted. Bank charges may apply.
Exam Syllabus for TRBT STPGT Recruitment 2025
There will be 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each carrying 1 mark, for all subjects except Mathematics. In Mathematics, there will be 75 MCQs, each carrying 2 marks. Candidates must shade/ darken the correct answer choice from the four options provided in the Question Booklet. There is no negative marking. The question paper will be in English and Bengali (except for language papers). The OMR Answer Sheet and instructions will be in English only.
