Chauffeur (Driver)
No. of vacancy: 04 (Unreserved)
Qualification: (i) Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Central or State or equivalent Board. (ii) Must possess a valid Driving License.
Proof of Residency: A candidate must possess a valid registration certificate of Employment Exchange for the State of Assam for the aforesaid post.
Scale of Pay: Rs.14000-60500/- with Grade Pay of Rs.5200/- plus other allowances as admissible under the rules.
Age limit: Category wise age limits for the posts, as on last date of receipt of applications, will be as under:
# Unreserved: Maximum 40 years
# OBC/MOBC: Maximum 43 years
# SC: Maximum 45 years
# STP/STH: Maximum 45 years
# PwBD: Maximum 50 years
Candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC category shall have to produce non-creamy layer certificate from the competent authority at the time of document verification.

# For all others: Rs.300/-
