State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) Commission, Assam (N.E. Region) has released employment news notification for conducting North East State Level Eligibility Test (NE-SLET) 2025-2026. Online applications are invited from interested and eligible candidates.

This Test is conducted in all the States of the North East including Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura.

SLET 2026: Eligibility
General/UR/EWS: 55% marks in Master’s. OBC (NCL)/SC/ST/PWD/Third Gender: 50% marks. Final-year PG students can apply provisionally. Must complete Master’s within 2 years with required marks. Appear only in PG subject (or related subject). Third Gender gets same benefits as SC/ST/PWD. Ph.D. before 19 Sept 1991 → 5% relaxation. Reserved category candidates must upload valid certificates. No age limit to apply for SET. SET certificate validity is lifetime.
