HFWD Meghalaya Recruitment 2022: Meghalaya Medical Services Recruitment Board (MMRB), Health & Family Welfare Department (HFWD), Government of Meghalaya official website meghealth.gov.in has released current latest employment news notification for the recruitment of 400 MHO and Junior Specialists vacancy under HFWD. HFWD Meghalaya Recruitment 2022
1. Medical & Health Officers (MHO)
- Qualification: MBBS or equivalent degree holder from any recognized medical institution of India or abroad duly registered with MCI/NMC.
- Pay Scale: Pay Matrix Level.
2. Junior Specialists (JS)
- Qualification: MD, MS, DNB, DM, M. Ch Diploma or other equivalent degree from any recognized medical institution of India or abroad duly registered with MCI/NMC.
- Pay Scale: Pay Matrix Level.
Both posts total vacancy: 400 nos.
Age & relaxation as on 01.01.2022:
# 23 years and not more than 41 years old for recruitment at Grade III level relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST. No age limit for candidates already appointed in Government service provided they entered government service within the prescribed age limit. (As per order No. Health.236/2017/11 dt 28.06.2018).
# Proof of the date of birth that can be accepted: Matriculation/Secondary School Leaving Certificate/or a Certificate recognized by Indian University equivalent to Matriculation or birth certificate issued from office of Registrar of birth and death accordingly.
Method of Selection:
# The final selection list against vacancies notified in this advertisement shall be made by the Recruitment Board. The process of selection shall be made based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the Computer Based Testing (CBT) examination. Additional weightage to their score will be added as follows: -
(i) Additional marks for duration of service and experience of doctors/specialists working under DoHFW as follows:
• 5 to 9 years-10 marks
• 3 to 5 years-7 marks
• 2 to 3 years-4 marks
• 1 to 2 years-2 marks
(ii) Additional marks against the qualification of candidate if he/she has completed Post Graduate Degrees and Diploma in Medical Science including Community Medicines/Family Medicines and Public Health as follows: -
• Postgraduate Degree 3 years-10 marks
• Postgraduate Degree/Diploma 2 years-5 marks
Payment of Fees: Application fees will be exempted.
How to Apply for HFWD Meghalaya Recruitment?
# Candidates are to register and apply and submit their applications through Online mode only. Link to the application portal will be made available in the official website of the office of the Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Meghalaya. The Applicants are advised to kindly check the website given above. Applications received through any other mode will not be accepted and will be summarily rejected.
General Instructions:
(i) Applicants are to apply well in advance before the closing date. The last date of application is on or before 10th December, 2022.
(ii) Candidates need to undergo a Computer Based Testing (CBT) at his/her own expenses at Shillong. Venue, date and time for the examination will be intimated in the admit card to be downloaded by the applicant as well as in the website.
(iii) Selection would be purely based on merit.
(iv) Applicants must upload the recent photograph on the space provided in the application.
(v) Admit Card will be available for download from the website. Applicants are advised to check the website on a frequent basis.
(vi) Selection for the post will be subject to verification of all documents to be brought along in person for physical verification once result is declared and the candidate found successful.
