Educational Qualification
Degree/Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, IT, Instrumentation, Mining, Environmental Engineering, or related disciplines. Master’s Degree in Geology required for Senior Geologist post. Freshers can apply for selected posts like Assistant Highway Engineer and Assistant Quality cum Material Engineer.
Experience Requirement
Experience requirement varies post-wise. Senior expert posts require up to 20 years of experience. Some assistant-level engineering posts require NIL experience.
Payment for Services
Fixed consolidated monthly remuneration ranging from ₹20,000/- to ₹2,00,000/-. Assistant Highway Engineer post offers ₹20,000/- per month. Team Leader cum Senior Tunnel Expert and Bridge / Structural Engineer posts offer up to ₹2,00,000/- per month.
Age Limit
Maximum Age: 62 Years for most posts. Maximum Age: 63 Years for selected expert posts. Age calculated as on 07 June 2026.
Terms & Conditions
The engagement is purely temporary and contractual. Tentative tenure ranges from 18 months to 36 months depending on the post. Consultants are entitled to 1.5 days leave for each completed month. No statutory benefits like PF, ESI, Gratuity, or Pension will be applicable.
Mode of Selection
Selection will be based only on Interview. Eligible candidates will undergo Document Scrutiny / Verification before interview. Evaluation will be based on technical knowledge, experience, communication skills, and subject expertise. Interview may be conducted through Video Conference or offline mode.
General Instructions
No application fee for any category of candidates. No TA/DA will be paid for attending document verification or interview. Age, qualification, and experience will be calculated as on 07 June 2026. Government/PSU employees must produce a valid No Objection Certificate (NOC). Selection results will be published on the official RITES website.
