RRB Technician Selection Framework - FAQs
What is the complete aggregate vacancy scale announced under the CEN 02/2026 notice?
The system lists a total scale of 6,565 vacancies, split systematically between 323 allocations for Technician Grade-I Signal and 6,242 markers for Technician Grade-III profiles.
Am I permitted to submit applications for multiple pay levels simultaneously?
Yes, eligible individuals can target both Pay Level 2 and Pay Level 5 structures. However, separate application frames must be submitted with individual fee tracks for each post.
Is it possible to submit individual applications to different regional RRBs for the same pay level?
No, you can select only one regional RRB for any single pay level. Submitting multiple files targeting different boards for the same pay level will trigger an absolute rejection.
Does the upcoming Computer Based Test feature a negative marking structure?
Yes, a structural deduction rule is enforced. Exactly one-third (1/3) of the marks designated to that question will be penalized for every wrong response logged.
