1. Post Name: Senior Data Scientist

Eligibility Criteria for MBDA Shillong
1. Senior Data Scientist
Qualification: Post Graduate in Data Science/Computer Science/Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning/Statistics/Mathematics/Data Analytics/Business Analytics OR Post Graduate in Engineering specializing in Computer Science/IT/Data Science/AI/Machine Learning.
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT, MIS, or Data Management.
- Expertise in Python and JavaScript programming.
- Strong knowledge of RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
- Experience in statistics, exploratory data analysis, and large datasets.
- Experience with ETL systems, data lakes/warehouses, and AWS services.
- Knowledge of GIS data and LGD systems.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI).
- Experience working with Government agencies or international institutions.
Other Requirements
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders and vendors.
- Ability to manage projects end-to-end.
- Must be available to work whenever required, including holidays.
2. Programme Associate (Data Analyst)
Qualification: Graduate or Post Graduate in Engineering specializing in Computer Science/Information Technology/Data Science OR Graduate or Post Graduate in Computer Science/Mathematics/Statistics/ Finance/Economics/Data Analytics.
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 1 year experience in data collection, data cleaning, and data analysis.
- Experience in handling datasets and preparing analytical reports or dashboards.
- Knowledge of MS Excel, data analysis tools, or database systems.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau).
- Skills in data management, statistical analysis, and monitoring/reporting systems.
Other Requirements
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of database management and data validation techniques.
- Understanding of data confidentiality and data management practices.
