Intelligence Bureau Recruitment 2025: Intelligence Bureau (IB) has released a notification for the recruitment of 394 posts of Junior Intelligence Officer (JIO) Grade-II/Tech for Classification General Central Service (GCS), Group-C (Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial). Eligible candidates can apply online from August 23, 2025, to September 14, 2025.

Qualification:
Diploma in Engineering in the fields of: Electronics or Electronics & Telecommunication or Electronics & Communication or Electrical & Electronics or Information Technology or Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Computer Applications from a Government recognized University/Institute.
Or
Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Electronics or Computer Science or Physics or Mathematics from a Government recognized University/Institute.
Or
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Applications from a Government recognized University/Institute.
Salary: Level-4 (Rs.25500-81100) in the pay matrix plus admissible Central Govt. allowances.
Age limit: Between 18-27 years.
Scheme of Exam: -
# Tier-I: Online exam of objective type MCQs (100 questions) based on General Mental Ability (25%) & Combination of subjects as per essential qualifications (75%). (100 marks).
# Tier-II: Skill Test - it would be practical based and technical in nature, commensurate with the job profile. (30 marks).
# Tier-III: Interview/Personality Test (20 marks).

#Rs.100/- (Rupees Hundred only) & Recruitment Processing Charges: Rs.550/- to be paid as under: -
#All candidates Recruitment Processing Charges @Rs.550/-.
#Male candidates of UR, EWS and OBC categories Examination Fee (₹100/-) in addition to Recruitment Processing Charges (₹ 550) i.e., ₹ 650/-.
Note-1: All SC/ST candidates, female candidates and those Ex-Servicemen who are eligible for reservation, are exempted from payment of examination fee, i.e., ₹ 100/-. However, they will have to pay the Recruitment Processing Charges i.e., ₹ 550/-.
Note-2: Ex-servicemen who have already secured employment in civil side under Central Govt in Group ‘C’ post on regular basis after availing benefits of reservation given to them are required to pay the examination fee, i.e., ₹ 100/- also along with recruitment processing charges of ₹ 550/-.
Note-3: Banking charges, if applicable, will be borne by the candidate.
