Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Class-6 Pass for Backward Tribes. Class-8 Pass for other Naga Tribes of Nagaland from NBSE or any recognized board.
- District: Candidates can apply against only one district. Must possess a valid Indigenous Inhabitant Certificate.
- Exam Fee: ₹300/- (Non-refundable, payable online).
Selection Process
The recruitment selection will be conducted through the following stages:
- Physical Standard Test (PST) & Medical Fitness: Qualifying screening test.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Outdoors: 45 Marks (Includes 3Km/2Km Run, Pull-ups, High Jump, and Long Jump).
- Written Test: 40 Marks (80 MCQs to be completed in 2 Hours).
- Interview: 10 Marks.
- Merit List & Waiting List: Final selection based on aggregate marks (PET + Written + Interview + NCC bonus). Waiting list remains valid for 45 days.
Place of Posting
Selected candidates will initially be deployed in the IR Battalions and are liable to serve anywhere within or outside the State of Nagaland.
