Who can apply for the Indian Navy B.Tech Entry 2027?
Unmarried men and women who passed 10+2 with 70% in PCM, 50% in English, and appeared for JEE Main 2026 can apply.
What is the total number of vacancies?
There are 60 vacancies in total: 30 for Mechanical Engineering and 30 for Electronics & Communication Engineering.
Are women eligible for this entry?
Yes, unmarried women are eligible. A maximum of 8 vacancies are reserved for women (4 per branch).
Will there be a written exam conducted by the Navy?
No. Shortlisting for the SSB interview is done entirely based on the JEE (Main) 2026 All India Common Rank List (CRL).
Where will the SSB interviews be held?
SSB interviews will be scheduled at Bengaluru, Bhopal, Kolkata, or Visakhapatnam from September 2026 onwards.
Do I have to pay for the B.Tech degree?
No. The entire cost of training, including books, reading material, clothing, and messing, is borne by the Indian Navy.
