Directorate of Science & Technology, Mizoram, invites applications in the prescribed form from eligible candidates for the recruitment of 2 posts of Lower Division Clerk (LDC) in Level 4 of the Pay Matrix, with a salary of ₹25,500–56,800/-. Qualification
- Passed HSSLC (10+2) from a recognized institution.
- Computer Proficiency: Must possess computer proficiency as prescribed under the Mizoram Group ‘A’, ‘B’ & ‘C’ Service/Recruitment Rules.
- Typing Speed: Minimum 30 words per minute (wpm) in English on computer.
- Mizo Language Proficiency: Must obtain minimum qualifying marks of 20 out of 50 in the Mizo Language Proficiency Test.
- Exemption: Candidates who studied Mizo as a subject in Class-X (HSLC) or above within Mizoram, or opted for Mizo as MIL outside Mizoram, are exempted from the Mizo Language Proficiency Test.

Pay Scale
- Pay Level: Level 4 in the Pay Matrix.
- Salary: Rs. 25,500 – Rs. 56,800/- per month plus admissible allowances.

Selection Procedure
- Typing Test: 30 wpm qualifying test on computer.
- Written Examination: Total 400 Marks.
- Skill Test: Total 90 Marks covering MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
- Personal Interview: Candidates qualifying the previous stages will be called for interview.
Written Examination Pattern:
- Paper-I: 200 Marks/3 Hours – General Knowledge, General English, Essay Writing and English Comprehension.
- Paper-II: 200 Marks/3 Hours – Computer Knowledge, Simple Arithmetic, General Intelligence & Reasoning.
- Skill Test: 90 Marks – MS Word (30), MS Excel (30) and MS PowerPoint (30). Minimum qualifying marks: 36.

- Age Limit: 18 to 35 years.
- Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST candidates as per Government rules.
- General Category: Rs. 200/-
- ST/SC/OBC Category: Rs. 150/-
- Persons with Disabilities (PwD): NIL (Exempted).

How to Apply
- Download the prescribed application form from the official website dst.mizoram.gov.in or obtain it from the Directorate Office.
- Fill in the application form correctly and completely.
- Attach self-attested copies of HSSLC certificate, computer certificate, age proof, caste certificate and other required documents.
- Pay the prescribed application fee according to your category.
- Submit the completed application form along with the required documents and fee to the Directorate of Science & Technology Office, MINECO, Khatla, Aizawl, Mizoram.
- Submit the application during office hours on or before 15th September 2026.
- Candidates serving in Government departments must apply through proper channel.
