• Lateral entry students entering 2nd-year Engineering after completing a Diploma with 60% are also eligible.

  • Family Limit: Normally awarded to only one student per family; relaxed to two students if the second child is female or both applicants are female.
  • Medical & Engineering Renewal: Must score at least 55% marks or equivalent SGPA/CGPA and pass all semester papers.
  • Graduation & 10+2 Renewal: Must secure at least 50% marks and pass all semester/yearly examinations.
  • Grace Marks & Backlogs: Candidates clearing papers with grace marks or clearing backlogs in subsequent semesters become ineligible for continuation.
  • Other Scholarships: Students receiving Government (State or Central) scholarships are eligible, but recipients of scholarships from private trusts are not eligible.
  • Ineligible Courses: Correspondence/Distance courses, Part-time/Evening classes, and self-study courses (CA, CS, CMA) are not covered.

Division Routing Online applications are automatically routed to one of LIC's 112 Divisional Offices based on the applicant's residential PIN code.
Merit Ranking Candidates with parental income below ₹4,50,000/- are ranked strictly based on Class 10th or 12th board marks. In case of a tie in marks, lower parental income gets preference.
Document Verification Selected applicants are informed via email and must present original Income Certificate, Board Marksheet, Admission Proof, and Bank details for verification.
Disbursement Following physical verification by Divisional Officials, funds are credited directly to the verified bank account via NEFT.
