Educational Qualification:
(i) Graduate from a University incorporated
by the Act of Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational
Institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be Deemed as a
University under Section 3 of the University Grant Commissioner Act 1956 or
possess such qualification as may be declared equivalent by the Government.
(ii) Working knowledge of MS Office and
related applications.
Nationality: Candidates must be
citizen of India as defined in article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
Age: Must not be less than 18 years and
more than 38 years as on 1st January 2019. Upper age limit is
relaxed up to 5 years for ST/SC candidates.
Selection Process:
Eligible the candidate will have to appear for the Written Test of 300 Marks.
General
English (Precis Writing, Drafting, Composition & Grammar): 100 Marks
General
Mathematics (HSLC Standard): 100 Marks
General
Knowledge: 100 Marks.
Candidates
who qualifies in the written test will be called for Computer Proficiency Test: 50
Marks.

Filled
in the application in Standard Form (Assam Gazette Part IX) with self-attested
supporting documents (HSLC Certificate for Date of Birth Proof, Degree Pass
Certificate & Mark Sheet) and 2 (two) copies of latest passport size photo
along with one self-addressed envelope with postal stamp of Rs.5.00 (Rupees
five) to be submitted. Name of the applicant to be written clearly at the back
side of the photographs and candidate must mention mobile Number & mail ID
for communication. Candidates already in service should apply through proper
channel.
Applications
are to be addressed to the Deputy Secretary & Officer on Special Duty
(Establishment), Office of the Resident Commissioner, Government of Assam,
Assam Bhawan, No.1 Sardar Patel Marg, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi-110021 personally
or by post. Envelope containing application should be superscribed mentioning
the name of the post applied for on the envelope.
