Age Limit & Relaxation
The age of candidates will be calculated as on 01 January 2026 based on the Matriculation/HSLC Admit Card or School Certificate.
- Minimum Age: 21 Years
- Maximum Age (Unreserved): 40 Years
- SC/ST: 5 Years upper age relaxation, up to 45 Years
- OBC/MOBC: 3 Years upper age relaxation, up to 43 Years
Selection Process
Candidates will be shortlisted and assessed through the selection stages prescribed for the respective posts.
- Screening & Shortlisting: Submitted credentials will be checked and eligible candidates will be shortlisted.
- Hindi Reporter: Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for a Hindi Stenography Speed Test with a required speed of 80 wpm.
- Translator Posts: Shortlisted candidates for Hindi, Bengali and Karbi Translator posts will appear before the Interview Board.
- Admit Card: Shortlisted candidates can download their admit cards from the official website. No individual correspondence will be made.
