MBDA Shillong Recruitment 2025 – 05 SPF & Development Associate Posts

The Meghalaya Basin Development Authority (MBDA), Shillong has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 05 posts of Development Associate and Senior Project Fellow (SPF) vacancies. Online applications are invited from interested and eligible candidates.

➧Essential Qualifications: (i) Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Public Administration, Public Policy, Public Health, Education, Development Studies, Economics, Management, or allied Social Sciences from a recognised institution. (ii) Strong understanding of governance systems, public service delivery, or development sector operations. 

➧Experiences, Skills & Attributes: (i) Minimum 2+ years’ experience in project coordination, programme implementation, research, or advisory roles in the development or public sector. (ii) Experience working with government departments or development programmes is highly desirable. (iii) Demonstrated capability in field monitoring, stakeholder coordination, and documentation/reporting.

➧Essential Qualification: Master Degree in Science or Technology with specialization in Atmospheric Science/Meteorology/Hydrology/RS-GIS/Forestry/Environmental Science/Environmental Management/ Water Resource Management/Earth Sciences/Geology/Disaster Management/Civil Engineering /Geoinformatics from a recognized university. 

➧Essential Experience: 2 Years of experience in Research and development. 

➧Requirement Skills: (i) Knowledge of RS/GIS. (ii) Data Collection/Analysis and manuscript development. (iii) Project Report Writing and Experience in Field Visits.
