Eligibility Criteria
  • Nationality & Residency: The candidate must be an Indian Citizen and a Permanent Resident of Assam. Domicile proof (PRC issued for educational purposes or Employment Exchange Registration Certificate) must be uploaded.
  • Qualifying Course Framework: Must hold a full-time minimum 3-year Engineering Diploma after H.S.L.C. or a 2 years (Base) + 2 years (Diploma) integrated course from a Government recognized or AICTE approved polytechnic/institution.
  • Minimum Percentage Requirements: General, OBC, and MOBC profiles must secure at least 60% marks in aggregate. For SC & ST candidates, the benchmark is set at a minimum of 50% marks.
  • Small Family Norms: Candidates must submit a formal declaration regarding "The Small Family Norms" in Form-A during registration.

Age Limits & Relaxations
Age: Candidates must be between 21 and 38 years of age calculated as on 01.01.2026. Age calculations will explicitly be vetted against Class X/Class XII Board Admit Cards, Pass Certificates, or Marksheets.
Age Relaxations:

• SC/ST candidates: Upper age limit relaxed up to 43 years (+5 Years).
• OBC/MOBC candidates: Upper age limit relaxed up to 41 years (+3 Years).
• PwBD profiles: Capped with an extra relaxation of 10 years across all categories.
• Ex-Servicemen: Maximum age limit set up to 50 years for Unreserved category.

Selection Procedure
Selection Process: The exact examination structural scheme will be notified at a later stage by the Commission via an addendum/corrigendum based on administrative needs and the volume of valid submissions received.
Tentative Examination Zones: APSC plans to host examinations zone-wise across six primary structural sectors covering various districts: Silchar, Jorhat, Nagaon, Tezpur, Kokrajhar, and Guwahati.

  • New users must first complete the structured One Time Registration (OTR) profile layout process with an active email ID and mobile number mapping.
  • Update educational achievements, domicile certificates, age proofs, and functional category details inside your OTR layout panel before initiating final submission tracking.
  • Upload a legible digital screenshot copy of your documents in PDF format (maximum 4 MB size, scanned at 200 dpi recommendation) alongside your digital signature and recent passport photo (50 KB - 200 KB).
  • Verify accuracy metrics using the "Preview" option layout panel, execute fee payment structural values online, and archive system-generated copies for future structural references before 21 August 2026.
