Vacancy and Salary Details

Qualification and Experience
Candidates must have one of the following qualifications along with relevant experience in Quality Assurance and Patient Safety:
- MBA in Healthcare Management/MHA/MPH: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- B.Sc. Nursing: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor of Hospital Administration (BHA): Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Preference: Preference will be given to bonafide citizens and domiciles of Meghalaya.
- Experience Relaxation: The competent authority may relax the experience requirement if sufficient eligible candidates are not available.
Job Responsibilities
The selected Hospital Manager will be responsible for supporting the overall quality and efficient functioning of the hospital. Major responsibilities include:
- Coordinate Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement activities.
- Monitor Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) activities.
- Ensure proper Biomedical Waste Management practices.
- Support patient safety and hospital quality initiatives.
- Maintain and submit monthly KPI and HR data through the JDC Dashboard.
- Carry out other managerial duties assigned by the Medical Superintendent.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of NQAS, NABH and Quality Improvement practices.
- Understanding of Infection Prevention and Control.
- Knowledge of Biomedical Waste Management.
- Ability to handle KPI, HR data and dashboard reporting.
- Good documentation and report-writing skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and digital systems.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Selection Process
The selection process will begin with scrutiny of applications. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their educational qualification and relevant work experience. Shortlisted candidates will then be called for the Interview/selection round.
