The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 529 posts of Head Constable (HC) and Constable (General Duty) for Meritorious Sportspersons under the Sports Quota-2026. Eligible candidates can apply online from 12/10/2026 to 11/11/2026.

Eligibility Criteria
1. Qualification:
a. Head Constable (GD) – Sports Quota
Qualification: 10+2 (Intermediate/Senior Secondary) passed from a recognised Board/University.Mandatory Sports Qualification:
- Represented the country in recognised international competitions/meets with MYAS clearance; or
- Represented a State/UT in the National Games/Senior National Championship and secured a medal or position up to 3rd place; or
- Secured 1st or 2nd position in an individual event in Inter-University Tournaments or reached the finals in a team event; or
- Won a Gold or Silver medal in the National-Level Junior Championship/Meet.
- Sports Achievement Period: 30/09/2024 to 30/09/2026
b. Constable (GD) – Sports Quota
Qualification: Matriculation (10th Pass) or equivalent from a recognised Board. Mandatory Sports Qualification:
Biometric & Identity Verification:
1. Visit the CRPF Recruitment Portal.
- Represented a State in Senior/Junior National Games/Championships; or
- Secured a medal or position up to 3rd place in National Sports/Games for Schools (SGFI); or
- Secured a medal or position up to 3rd place in Khelo India University, Youth, or Winter Games; or
- Represented a University in Inter-University Tournaments conducted by the AIU.
- Sports Achievement Period: 30/09/2024 to 30/09/2026
2. Age Limit (as on 01/08/2026)
- Age Limit: 18–23 years
- Date of Birth: 02/08/2003 to 01/08/2008
- Unreserved Sportspersons: 5 years.
- OBC (NCL) Sportspersons: 8 years.
- SC/ST Sportspersons: 10 years.
- Ex-Servicemen: 3–8 years over and above the military service duration.
- Departmental Candidates: Up to 5 years, plus applicable community relaxation.

- Male Candidates (UR/OBC/EWS): Rs. 100/-
- SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen & All Female Candidates: Nil (Exempted)

Physical Standards Test (PST)
1. Height:
- Male: 170 cm
- Female: 157 cm
- ST Candidates: Male – 162.5 cm | Female – 150 cm
- ST Candidates of NE States: Male – 157 cm | Female – 147.5 cm
- Candidates from NE States & Hill Areas: Relaxed height standards apply as per the specific category-wise tables.
- Male: 162.5–165 cm
- Female: 152.5–155 cm
2. Chest (Male Candidates Only):
- Normal: 80 cm (minimum 5 cm expansion)
- ST Candidates: 76 cm (minimum 5 cm expansion)
- NE States/Hill Areas: 77–78 cm (minimum 5 cm expansion)
3. Weight: Proportionate to height and age as per medical guidelines.
Selection Process
- Real-time biometric registration and identity verification.
- Physical verification of original academic, sports merit, and category certificates.
- Measurement of height, chest (for male candidates), and weight.
- Practical trial of the respective sports discipline conducted by the Board of Officers.
- Qualifying in nature; no marks are awarded.
- Failure in the trial will lead to disqualification.
- Prepared based on a maximum of 100 marks.
- Marks are awarded for the candidate’s single highest sports medal, position, or participation achieved during the last two years.
- Detailed Medical Examination (DME).
- Review Medical Examination (RME), if applicable.
- Selected candidates must execute a service bond of ₹1,00,000/-.
- Candidates must serve in CRPF for a minimum of 3 years to promote sports.

2. Register using your active email ID and mobile number.
3. Select HC (GD) or Constable (GD) Sports Quota 2026 and choose your sports discipline.
4. Enter your personal, educational, address, and category details.
5. Upload the required documents:
- Photograph (3.5 × 4.5 cm) and scanned signature.
- Class 10th/Matriculation Certificate (for date of birth).
- 10+2/Intermediate Certificate (for Head Constable).
- Sports Merit Certificate in the prescribed Form (Form 1–5, as applicable).
- Caste/EWS/Height Relaxation Certificate (if applicable).
6. Pay the ₹100/- application fee, if applicable.
7. Review and submit the application by 11 November 2026 (11:59 PM).
8. Save and print a copy of the application confirmation page for future reference.
