DC Shillong Notification 2025: Office of the Deputy Commissioner (DC), District Selection Committee (DSC), East Khasi Hills District (EKHD), Shillong, has released a job advertisement for 170 posts of LDA-cum-Typist, Sectional Assistant, Fishery Demonstrator, and Forester-I. Qualification for DSC EKHD Recruitment

Post Name	Qualification
LDA cum Typist	Matriculation/SSLC passed from a recognized School/Board with a Certificate in Computer Application from a recognized computer training institute (minimum 3 months duration) and a minimum typing speed of 30 w.p.m. (to be verified through a technical speed test).
Sectional Assistant	SSLC passed from a recognized School/Board.
Fishery Demonstrator	Passed Class XII in Science with Biology as one of the subjects.
Forester-I	Candidates must have passed HSSLC in the Science stream or above, or an equivalent examination, from a recognized School/Board.
Demonstrator Jr.-I	(i) HSLC passed or equivalent examination in the Science stream recognized by the Government. (ii) Must be willing to serve in any interior place in Meghalaya. (iii) Must have passed the Physical Test. (iv) A Medical Fitness Certificate from the appropriate authority must be submitted. (v) Shall have to execute a bond to undergo the 11-month Field Assistant Training Course at the Soil & Water Conservation Training Institute, Byrnihat, Meghalaya. (vi) A monthly stipend will be provided during the course of training.

1. Age Limit: 18–32 years as on 01.01.2025. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

2. Application Fee: Rs.100/- (Rs. 50/- for SC/ST), payable via Debit/ATM Card, Net Banking, or SBI e-Challan (cash at any SBI branch).

3. Forester-I Minimum Physical Standard: 

(a) Height:

Male: 163 cm

Female: 150 cm

(b) Chest:

Male: 79 cm (normal) with 5 cm expansion

Female: 74 cm (normal) with 5 cm expansion

(c) Minimum Height for SC/ST:

Male: 152 cm

Female: 145 cm

(d) Physical Test:

Male candidates: Walk 25 km within 4 hours

Female candidates: Walk 16 km within 4 hours
