Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the FCSCA Mizoram Storekeeper vacancy, candidates must meet the following requirements:
1. Educational Qualification
- Academic: Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) or above from a recognized institution.
- Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of computer applications equivalents to CCC (Course on Computer Concepts) from NIELIT or a similar course with a minimum of 80 contact hours (32 hrs. Theory + 48 hrs. Practical).
- Language: Working knowledge of the Mizo language (at least Middle School standard).
2. Age Limit (as of 20.01.2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 35 years
- Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
Examination Syllabus & Pattern
The recruitment process involves a written examination consisting of two papers.
Paper-I: General English & Aptitude
- Total Marks: 200 | Duration: 3 Hours
- General Knowledge (100 Marks): Indian History, Culture, Polity (Constitution), Geography, Economy, General Science, and Mizo History/Culture.
- General English (50 Marks): Vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, and comprehension.
- Essay Writing (30 Marks): Logical presentation of ideas and constructive thinking.
- English Comprehension (20 Marks): Grasp of the English language.
Paper-II: Arithmetic & Computers
- Total Marks: 200 | Duration: 3 Hours
- Simple Arithmetic (100 Marks): Number systems, percentages, profit & loss, time & work, interest, and data interpretation (graphs/charts).
- Basic Computer Knowledge (100 Marks): Windows/GUI, Word Processing, Spreadsheets, PowerPoint, Internet/WWW, and communication tools.
Application Fee
Fees must be paid in cash at the Establishment Branch, Directorate of FCS&CA:
- General Candidates: ₹200/-
- SC/ST/OBC Candidates: ₹150/-
