MBMA Shillong Recruitment Details
1. State Project Manager (SPM)
- No. of post: 01 (One)
- Qualification: Graduate or Post Graduate degree/Diploma in Agri-business or Food Business Management from National/International Premiere institutes.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years of work experience in managing development project management preferably in Food Processing or Agri-Business Development or MSME out of which minimum 3 years in leadership role.
- Skills Required: (i) Good Written and Verbal Communication Skills. (ii) Good level of proficiency in Windows Excel and quantitative and qualitative analysis. (iii) Computer literacy with general MS package, spreadsheet and data analysis.
- Requirement: The work will entail frequent travelling to the project cluster/village across the State.
- Emolument: Rs.78,000/- plus allowances as may be admissible.
- Age Limit: Upto 45 years
2. Manager (Marketing & Operation)
- No. of post: 01 (One)
- Qualification: Graduate or Post Graduate Degree/MBA/Diploma in Marketing Management, Agri-Marketing, Rural Management with specialization in Marketing.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in sourcing/marketing of agri/food products, linking of MSME units with retail chain, branding etc. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in pre-production/production/post harvesting/processing/branding/marketing of Agri products.
- Skills Required: (i) Good Written and Verbal Communication Skills. (ii) Computer literacy with general MS package, spreadsheet and data analysis.
- Requirement: The work will entail frequent travelling to the project cluster/village across the state.
- Emolument: Rs.46,000/- plus allowances as may be admissible.
- Age Limit: Upto 45 years.
3. Procurement Specialist
- No. of post: 01 (One)
- Qualification: Graduate or Post Graduate in Purchase/ Material Management/ Procurement & Supply Chain/Inventory & Logistics/Commerce/Business and Financial Management.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in Purchase, Procurement & Supply Chain, Inventory and Logistic Management related functions.
- Skills Required: (i) Good written and verbal communication. (ii) Strong Analytical and Negotiation Skills (iii) Excellent Decision Making & Problem-Solving Skills. (iv) Computer skills like Word Processing, Spread Sheets and Power Point Presentation. (v) Excellent management and leadership skills to motivate employees across the board. (vi) Financial skills particularly focusing on budget management and costs estimations.

4. Assistant Manager (Agronomist)
- No. of posts: 02 (Two)
- Qualification: BSc/MSc in Agriculture/Horticulture.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in related field Preference will be given to candidate having experience in preproduction/production of Turmeric/Ginger crop.
- Skills Required: (i) Good Written and Verbal Communication Skills. (ii) Good knowledge in Project Management and Marketing intelligence (iii) Computer literacy with general MS package, spreadsheet and data analysis.
- Requirement: The work will entail frequent travelling to the project cluster/village.
- Emolument: Rs.31,200/- plus allowances as per admissible.
- Age Limit: Upto 45 years.
5. Assistant Manager (Tissue Culture Lab)
- No. of posts: 02 (Two)
- Qualification: BSc/MSc in in Botany/Biotechnology.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in related field Preference will be given to candidate having experience in preproduction/production of Turmeric/Ginger crop.
