Qualification for OIL Recruitment 2026
1. Chemist (Fields)
(i) Must have passed Master’s Degree in Chemistry of minimum 02 (Two) years duration from a Government of India recognized University/Institute.
(ii) Must have minimum 02 (Two years) post qualification work experience of handling drilling/workover fluids in E&P industry (Drilling and Workover Wells).
2. Chemist (Laboratory)
(i) Must have passed Master’s Degree in Chemistry of minimum 02 (Two) years duration from a Government of India recognized University/Institute.
(ii) Must have minimum 02 (Two) years post qualification work experience in laboratory activities in Oil & Gas Industry.
3. Geologist
(i) M.Sc. (Geology/Applied Geology) or M. Tech. (Geology/Applied Geology) of minimum 02 (Two) years duration from Govt. recognized University/Institute.
(ii) Must possess PhD degree with specialization in Organic Geochemistry.
(iii) Post Qualification Work experience of more than 03 (Three) years in Geological Laboratory of Oil & Gas Industry/Research Organization/University/Institute.
Selection Process for OIL Recruitment 2026
a) The candidate(s) will be selected based on Walk-in-Interview of total 100 marks.
b) The minimum qualifying marks will be 50 for all categories.
c) The candidate (s) will be assessed on suggestive parameters such as Professional Knowledge and skills (in concerned discipline), Professional Knowledge and skills (in allied discipline), Personal Attributes and Soft Skills.
d) Final selection will be made based on merit only as per the marks obtained by the candidate(s) in the Walk-in-Interview, securing the qualifying/pass marks of 50, or above.
