DC Hojai Sankardev Nagar Recruitment Details
1. Junior Assistant
- No. of posts: 06 (Gen: 02, OBC: 02, STP: 01 & EWS: 01)
- Educational Qualification: (a) Degree in any discipline from a University recognized by the Government or a Degree equivalent thereto and recognized by the Government. (b) He/She must has good working knowledge of office productivity software tolls (independent) or any operating system i.e MS Windows, Linux, Mac etc such as word processor, spreadsheet, presentation graphics, concept of database, interview, e-mail etc. Candidates must possess a minimum 6 (Six) months Diploma in computer application from institutes recognized by the Government.
- Scale of Pay: PB-2, Rs.14000-49000/- Grade Pay Rs.5600/- as per Assam Service (ROP) Rule 2017 (as amended)
2. Stenographer (Grade-III)
- No. of post: 01 (UR)
- Educational Qualification: (a) Degree in any discipline from a University recognized by the Government or a Degree equivalent thereto and recognized by the Government. (b) He/She must has good working knowledge of office productivity software tools (independent) of any operating system i.e. MS Windows, Linux, Mac etc such as word processor, spreadsheet, presentation graphics, concept of database, internet, e-mail etc. Candidates must possess a minimum 6 (six) months Diploma in computer application/knowledge along with a Diploma in a stenography from institutes recognized by the Government.
- Scale of Pay: PB-2, Rs.14000-49000/- Grade Pay Rs.7400/- as per Assam Service (ROP) Rule 2017 (as amended).
Age limit for DC Hojai Sankardev Nagar Recruitment
The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01.01.2021. The upper age limit is relaxable by
- 5 years for SC/ST candidates
- 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates
- For persons with Disability (PWD) by 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category of candidates. The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the Matriculation/ HSLC Admit Card/Certificate issued by a recognized Board/Council and no other document shall be accepted in lieu of the mentioned documents.

- The last date of submission of application has been extended up to 23rd November, 2021. Application must be submitted online using the link <https://niyukti.assam.gov.in/jr_asst_hojai w.e.f. 12th November 2021.
- Candidates who has already applied earlier need not apply again, however the candidates who applied under EWS category will have to submit EWS certificate for the years 2021-22 at the time of Computer test, if called.
