MPSC Mizoram Job Information Details
1. College Librarian
Department: Higher & Technical Education Department
No. of post: 01 (One)
Qualification: As per Para. 4.7.I of UGC Regulations, 2018, the minimum qualifications for direct recruitment to the post of College Librarian are: -
i) A Master’s Degree in Library Science, Information Science or Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree, with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed).
ii) A consistently good academic record, with knowledge of computerization of a library.
iii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidates must have cleared the Nationality Eligibility test (NET) conducted by the UGC like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be.
Pay: Academic Level-10 (Rs. 57,700 – Rs. 1,82,400/-).
2. Assistant Director (Town Planning)
Department: Urban Development & Poverty Alleviation Department
Classification: Group ‘A’ (Gazetted) (Non-Ministerial)
No. of post: 01 (One)
Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Planning or its equivalent as considered by the Institute of Town Planners, India.
Desirable: (i) Master Degree in Planning. (ii) Associate Member of Institute of Town Planners, India (ITP). (iii) Working Knowledge of Mizo Language of at least Middle School standard.
Pay: Level 10 in the Pay Matrix (Rs.56,100 – Rs.1,24,500).
Age Limit: A candidate must be between 21 years and 35 years of age on the last date of application. For age proof, HSLC/HSSLC Certificates which clearly shows the candidate’s date of birth shall be accepted. In the absence of date of birth in such certificates, the relevant documents issued by the competent authority may be accepted.
