Indian Navy SSC Officer Job Opening 2025: The Indian Navy has released the latest employment notification for the recruitment of 260 Short Service Commission (SSC) Officer posts for various entries under the June 2026 (AT 26) Course. Interested and eligible candidates may apply online for the Indian Navy SSC Officer Recruitment 2025 from 09.08.2025 to 01.09.2025.

Indian Navy Recruitment 2025 Details

1. Branch/Cadre: Executive Branch {GS(X)/Hydro Cadre}

  • No. of posts: 57 
  • Qualification: BE/B.Tech. in any discipline with minimum 60% marks.

2. Branch/Cadre: Pilot

  • No. of posts: 24
  • Qualification: BE/B.Tech. in any discipline with minimum 60% marks. (Candidate must have 60% aggregate marks in class X and XII and minimum 60% marks in English in class X or class XII).

3. Branch/Cadre: Naval Air Operations Officer (Observers)

  • No. of posts: 20
  • Qualification: BE/B.Tech. in any discipline with minimum 60% marks. (Candidate must have 60% aggregate marks in class X and XII and minimum 60% marks in English in class X or class XII).

4. Branch/Cadre: Air Traffic Controller (ATC)

  • No. of posts: 20
  • Qualification: BE/B.Tech. in any discipline with minimum 60% marks. (Candidate must have 60% aggregate marks in class X and XII and minimum 60% marks in English in class X or class XII).

5. Branch/Cadre: Logistics

  • No. of posts: 10
  • Qualification: BE/B.Tech (any discipline) or MBA or B.Sc/B.Com/B.Sc.(IT) with PG Diploma in Finance/Logistics/Supply Chain/Material Management or MCA/M.Sc.(IT) - all with First Class.

6. Branch/Cadre: Naval Armament Inspectorate Cadre (NAIC)

  • No. of posts: 20
  • Qualification: BE/B.Tech with minimum 60% marks.

7. Branch/Cadre: Law

  • No. of posts: 02
  • Qualification: A degree in Law qualifying for enrolment as an advocate under Advocates Act,1961, with minimum 55% marks.

8. Branch/Cadre: Education

  • No. of posts: 07
  • Qualification: MSc (Maths/OR/Physics/Applied Physics/Meteorology/Oceanography/ Atmospheric Sciences) or BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in Mechanical, Production, CSE, ECE, Electrical, Instrumentation, or MCA - all with minimum 60% marks and required subject background at graduation level.

9. Branch/Cadre: Engineering Branch {General Service (GS)}

  • No. of posts: 36
  • Qualification: BE/B.Tech with minimum 60% marks.

10. Branch/Cadre: Electrical Branch {General Service (GS)}

  • No. of posts: 40
  • Qualification: BE/B.Tech with minimum 60% marks.

11. Branch/Cadre: Naval Constructor

  • No. of posts: 16
  • Qualification: BE/B.Tech with minimum 60% marks.

# Salary: Rs. ₹1,10,000/- (approx.) month.

# Age limit: Merchant Navy personnel with valid CoC (Second Mate/Mate/Master or 1st Class Engineer) born between 02 Jul 1996 and 01 Jan 2007 can apply for Executive or Technical Branch; CPL holders with DGCA license born between 02 Jul 2001 and 01 Jul 2007 are eligible for Pilot entry.

Who can Apply? 

Candidates who are graduates/postgraduates or in the final year with minimum 60% marks from recognized Indian or foreign universities (as per UGC/AICTE/IIT/NITSER/IIIT Acts or AIU equivalence) are eligible to apply.
