Eligibility Criteria

Class 10, 10+2 in Science, ITI, Diploma, Degree or relevant qualification, depending on the trade. |

18–23 years or 18–25 years, depending on the trade, as on July 1, 2026. |

SC/ST: 5 years; OBC: 3 years. Other relaxation as per government rules. |

Selection Process

| 1. PST & PET |
Physical Standards Test and Physical Efficiency Test. Male candidates must complete a 5 km run within 24 minutes. For the Ladakh region, 1.6 km must be completed within 7 minutes. |

Verification of original certificates and testimonials. |
| 3. Computer Based Test |
Objective examination carrying 100 marks. Minimum qualifying marks: 35% for General/EWS and 33% for SC/ST/OBC candidates. |
| 4. Trade Skill Test |
Practical and computer-based skill test according to the relevant trade. |
| 5. Medical Examination |
Detailed Medical Examination (DME) and Review Medical Examination (RME). |
