NICL Recruitment 2026
National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) has invited online applications for the recruitment of 321 Administrative Officers (Generalists & Specialists) in Scale-I from eligible candidates. The vacancies are available in Generalist and various Specialist disciplines including Finance, Legal, Information Technology, Automobile Engineering, Risk Engineering, Company Secretary and Agriculture.
The selection process will consist of a Phase-I Preliminary Examination, Phase-II Main Examination and Interview. Interested candidates should check the eligibility criteria carefully before applying online.

Note: The vacancies are tentative and may be changed by NICL according to its requirements. A candidate can apply for only one discipline.
Emoluments
The starting basic pay for NICL Administrative Officer Scale-I posts is ₹82,485 per month. The total emoluments are approximately ₹1,14,000 per month in metropolitan centres, including applicable allowances.
Selected candidates will also be eligible for benefits such as New Pension Scheme, Gratuity, LTS, Medical Benefits, Group Personal Accident Insurance and Company/leased accommodation as per the applicable rules.

For SC/ST/PwBD candidates, the minimum qualifying percentage is 55%, wherever applicable. The required qualification must have been obtained on or before 01 October 2026.
Age limit
The age of the candidate will be calculated as on 01 October 2026.

- Maximum Age: 30 years
- Candidates must have been born between 02 October 1996 and 01 October 2005, both dates inclusive.
Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules.

Selection Procedure
The selection of candidates for NICL Administrative Officer posts will be based on the following stages:
- Phase-I Preliminary Examination
- Phase-II Main Examination
- Interview
- Final Selection
The Phase-I Preliminary Examination will be conducted online for 100 marks and will include English Language, Reasoning Ability and Quantitative Aptitude.
The Phase-II Main Examination will consist of objective tests for 250 marks and a 30-mark Descriptive English Test. Specialist candidates will also have a technical/professional knowledge test related to their respective discipline.
For final selection, the weightage of the Main Examination and Interview will be 80:20 respectively.
