Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), a Maharatna Central Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has invited online applications for the engagement of Junior Executives on Short Term Basis.
A total of 150 Junior Executive vacancies are available in Aeronautical, Chemical, Civil, Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Metallurgy and Production disciplines. The selected candidates will be posted at various HAL Divisions, R&D Centres and Offices across India.
The online application process will be conducted from 07 October 2026 to 17 October 2026.

Qualification
Candidates must possess a Regular/Full-Time Degree in Engineering/Technology from a recognized University/Institute under the applicable engineering education system.
The eligible engineering disciplines include:
- Aeronautical/Aerospace
- Civil Engineering
- Computer Science/Computer Engineering/IT and related branches
- Chemical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering and related branches
- Electronics and Communication and related branches
- Production/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering and related branches
- Mechanical Engineering and related branches
- Metallurgy/Materials & Metallurgy and related branches
Candidates belonging to UR/OBC-NCL/EWS categories must have at least 60% aggregate marks, while SC/ST/PwBD candidates must have at least 50% aggregate marks.
Only regular/full-time qualifications are eligible. Part-time, correspondence, distance education and e-learning engineering/technology degrees are not eligible.
Age limit
The maximum age limit is 28 years as on 17 October 2026 for UR and EWS candidates.
Age relaxation is applicable as follows:

Other age relaxations for Ex-Servicemen and serving Armed Forces personnel will be applicable as per HAL rules.
Remuneration
Selected Junior Executives will be engaged in E0 Pay Scale (2017) of DPE: ₹30,000 – ₹1,20,000.
The remuneration includes:
- Basic Pay: ₹30,000/-
- Dearness Allowance
- House Rent Allowance, where applicable
- Cafeteria Allowance at 35% of Basic Pay
- Annual increment of 3% on Basic Pay in the second and third year
Other applicable benefits include medical insurance reimbursement up to ₹25,000 per year, leave benefits, PF contribution, gratuity subject to conditions, TA/DA and other benefits as specified by HAL.
The engagement will be on a short-term basis for a maximum period of 3 years and will automatically end after completion of the tenure.

- Select Engagement of Junior Executives on Short Term Basis-2026.
- Fill in the eligibility and personal details carefully.
- Complete the qualification and other required details.
- Upload the required photograph and signature.
- Candidates belonging to UR/OBC-NCL/EWS categories should pay the ₹500 application fee through SBI Collect.
- After successful payment validation, download the final application/confirmation page.
- Keep a copy of the submitted application for future reference.
The online application window is from 07 October 2026 at 14:00 hrs to 17 October 2026 at 14:00 hrs.
Important: Candidates can apply for only one engineering discipline. More than one application for different disciplines will lead to rejection of the applications.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on Interview only.
Eligible candidates will be shortlisted for the interview based on their aggregate marks in the qualifying examination. Shortlisting will normally be done in a maximum 1:10 ratio against the number of vacancies in each discipline and category.
Candidates must secure at least 50% marks in the Interview to qualify, with applicable relaxation for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
The shortlisted candidates will be informed about the date, time and venue of the interview through email, and the shortlisted list will also be published on the HAL website.
