Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), New Delhi has issued a recruitment notification for 225 posts of Insurance Medical Officer (IMO) Grade-II in the ESI Corporation. Candidates with an MBBS degree are eligible to apply. The offline application portal will remain active from January 13, 2026 to February 17, 2026. Candidates must apply through the Pratibha Setu Portal under the Combined Medical Services Examination (CMSE) - 2024 conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

Post Name: Insurance Medical Officer (IMO)
No. of posts: 225 [SC: 64, ST: 43, OBC: 33, EWS: 22 & UR: 63]
Classification: Category (C, D & E).
Salary: Level-10 (Rs.56,100-1,77,500) plus other allowances.
Age limit: Not exceeding 35 years as on 01.08.2024.
Qualification for ESIC IMO Recruitment
Must hold a recognized MBBS degree as per the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (First/Second Schedule or Part-II of Third Schedule).
Must have completed the compulsory rotating internship.
Note: Candidates who have not yet completed the internship can apply, but must complete it before appointment.
Selection Process for ESIC IMO Recruitment
Candidates listed on the Pratibha Setu Portal (UPSC) as on 17.02.2026 will receive communication inviting applications.
Candidates must give consent to share their CMSE 2024 marks from UPSC to ESIC; applications without consent will be rejected.
A merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in CMSE-2024 conducted by UPSC.
