Qualification:

Item No. 1: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University with working knowledge of Computer. 

Item No. 2 & 3: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University with working knowledge of Computer, HSSLC with working knowledge of Computer for Backward Tribes. 

Item No. 4 & 7: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University. 

Item No. 5: (i) Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University for General. (ii) HSSLC (10+2) for Backward Tribe. 

Item No. 6: HSSLC (10+2) Science.

Age limit: The minimum age is 21 and the maximum age is 32 as of January 1, 2025, with a five-year age relaxation for ST candidates and serving government employees.

2. Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) 

a. CPT will be the mandatory qualifying criterion for all clerical and allied posts. Marks secured in the CPT will not be added to the final total marks. 

b. The Board will hold a Computer Proficiency Test (CPT), comprising of basic working skills/knowledge of Computer for candidates shortlisted on the basis of their score in the written examination. The qualifying benchmark for the CPT shall be 30% of the total marks allocated for CPT.

3. The recruitment process consists of three tiers:


Tier I: General Paper (MCQ based)

  • Marks: 200
  • Time: 3 hours
  • Note: There is a negative marking of 1/3rd of the total marks for each incorrect answer.
Tier II:

  • Clerical & Allied Services: A qualifying Computer Proficiency/Skill Test with a maximum of 50 marks.
  • Uniform Services: A qualifying Physical Eligibility Test (refer to Annexure-I for details).
Tier III: Interview

  • The interview is weighted at 5% of the total marks from the Tier I written examination.

How to Apply for NSSB Nagaland CSRE-2025?

To apply for the positions, follow these steps: -

Application Method: Apply online only through the official website, nssb.nagaland.gov.in. No physical forms will be issued.

Registration: One-Time Registration (OTR) is mandatory. New users must register on the website first before submitting the application.

Application Window: The online application will be open from September 20, 2025, until October 15, 2025 (12:00 noon).

Examination Fee: The fee is Rs. 300, but candidates with PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities) are exempt.

For Government Employees: You must upload a "NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE" (NOC) signed by your Head of Department (HoD) during the online application. A hard copy of the same must be submitted at the time of document verification. The specific NOC format is available for download on the Board's website.
