Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) has released an official advertisement for the recruitment of 14 vacancies for Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Junior Hydrographic Surveyor (JHS), and Senior Accounts Officer (SAO) through Direct Recruitment at IWAI Headquarters, Noida, and its Regional/Sub-Offices. IWAI Recruitment 2025
1. Post Name: Lower Division Clerk (LDC)
- Post Code: 01/25
- No. of posts: 04 [UR: 01, OBC-NCL: 01, EWS: 01 & SC: 01]
- Salary: Level-2 in the pay matrix.
- Age limit: Between 18 to 27 years.
2. Post Name: Junior Hydrographic Surveyor (JHS)
- Post Code: 02/25
- No. of posts: 09 [UR: 04, OBC-NCL: 03 & SC: 02]
- Salary: Level-6 in the pay matrix.
- Age limit: Not exceeding 30 years.
3. Post Name: Senior Accounts Officer
- Post Code: 03/25
- No. of post: 01 [UR]
- Salary: Level-10 in the pay matrix.
- Age limit: Not exceeding 35 years.
Qualification for IWAI Recruitment 2025
Lower Division Clerk (LDC): 12th pass with typing speed of 35 w.p.m. (English) or 30 w.p.m. (Hindi).
Junior Hydrographic Surveyor (JHS): Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering with relevant survey experience or SR I/II of Indian Navy with 7 years in Hydrography; computer knowledge desirable.
Senior Accounts Officer (SAO): Graduate with professional accounting qualification (CA/ICWA/SAS) and 3 years supervisory experience; Business Management degree/diploma desirable.
Other Information for IWAI Recruitment 2025
Application Fee: ₹500 (Non-Refundable) for UR/OBC/EWS; Women, SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen are exempt. Fee payment online only (Internet Banking/Debit/Credit Card/UPI).
Place of Posting: All India transfer liability; HQ Noida or Regional/Sub-Offices across India.
Exam Syllabus & Date: Computer-Based Online Test (CBT) as per post eligibility criteria; tentatively in December 2025. Admit card available on IWAI website.
Selection Process:
- LDC: CBT + Typing Skill Test
- JHS: CBT
- SAO: CBT + Interview
Qualifying Marks: UR – 45%, OBC/EWS – 40%, SC/ST/PwBD – 35%
Exam Centres: Delhi/NCR, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Guwahati, Patna, Kochi. No request for change of centre.
