Educational Qualification Criteria
Post Name Prescribed Educational Qualification Associate Professor (Pay Level 13A) Master's Degree and Ph.D. in the concerned discipline or Shastra with active research credentials. A minimum of 8 years of teaching or research experience in an academic/research position equivalent to that of an Assistant Professor. Assistant Professor (Pay Level 10) Master's Degree with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in the respective subject or Shastra from a recognized Indian University. Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) / SLET conducted by the UGC/CSIR or possess a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with UGC Regulations. Assistant Director (Physical Education & Sports) Master's Degree in Physical Education and Sports or Physical Education or Sports Science with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade). Record of having represented the university/college at the inter-university/inter-collegiate competitions and passed the physical fitness test in accordance with UGC guidelines. Assistant Librarian (Pay Level 10) Master's Degree in Library Science, Information Science, or Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks. A consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerization of a library.
