Remuneration: Deployed under 'Wages', Highly Skilled Category at the rate prescribed by the Department of Labour, Employment & Skill Development, Govt. of Meghalaya from time to time, including Risk allowance as monthly Honoraria.
Eligibility Criteria
- Domicile: Candidates must be Indian citizens and permanent residents (domiciled) in the state of Meghalaya.
- Experience Profile: Applicants must be active Home Guards Volunteers who have been deployed/engaged with various Requisitioning Agencies for a cumulative minimum period of 3 (three) years, i.e., 1095 days.
- Age Limit: The upper age limit of the applicants should not exceed 50 years as of 15th April 2026.
- Employment Nature: Purely temporary and voluntary for a period of 1 (one) year (extendable based on performance). No volunteer can claim regularization or permanent retention in the cadre.
